But have you ever heard Edison and Ford???
Yeah...
When the formal pair relates to an invention,the latter pair relates themselves as Friends!!!
Edison met Ford at a dinner where Edison was greatly impressed by Ford's car designs. His support went a long way to reach Ford's historic success in auto industry. Ford and Edison remained inseparable friends for sometime. After Ford became a wealthy industrialist, he encouraged Edison to conduct many experiments. They had their vacations and camping together. As they grew together, Ford moved in to an estate next to Edison's.Their estates were separated by a wooden fence but the gate always stood open...and became known as "The Friendship Gate". When Edison became confined to a wheel chair in his latter life, Ford who was healthy and active purchased a wheel chair for himself and together they would race across the grounds in their wheel chairs.
Such is the intensity of these life long friends. In this era of virtual networks, each one of us is devoid of friendship like this. Keep you Friendship gates open so as to welcome your dear ones in to it.
